The 200 Club is a form of private lottery. People buy numbered tickets which are entered into a regular prize draw. When the tickets are drawn, a percentage of the profit is given as the prize, with the remainder going to club funds.
How does it work?
50% of the income from The 200 Club goes into club funds and helps fund necessary purchases to provide equipment used by our players. It also helps fund the maintenance of the pavilion and surrounding grounds.
The other 50% of the income is paid out in prize money.
How much does a number cost?
One number costs £2 per month but you can hold as many numbers as you want. The more you hold, the more chances you have of winning prizes!
How old do participants have to be?
All participants must be over 16.
How long will I have my number(s) for?
You can pay by standing order on a monthly basis (£2 per month) or you can subscribe for the whole year (£24).
How often do you hold a prize draw?
We usually hold a prize draw at our annual dinner, as well as other events throughout the year.
At a draw, after a number has been drawn, it is replaced into the bag, which means you have more than one chance of winning a prize!
When was The 200 Club established at BHCC?
Our 200 Club was established in 1971. In the first year, the prize was a brand new Mini (the car - not the skirt!)
The 200 Club
Welcome to our 200 Club – a great way for you to support BHCC whilst having a bit of a flutter!
Here’s how it works…
You complete and sign our 200 Club membership form and pay £2 per month (by standing order) or £24 annually (by standing order, cash or cheque).
This buys you one number (but you can have more than one number, if you want), which enters you into our prize draws.
